It was a tough one tonight!  We were lucky with the rain (it never materialized), but instead, we had mugginess and heat, which made for a very sweaty hike.  I don't think we could have gotten wetter had we actually been in a downpour!  But this was a fitness hike, so we kept a strong pace with only brief stops for water along the way.

Most of the group were veterans to the Tuesday night fitness hikes, but we did add some newcomers who proved to be champs on the trails: Welcome to the group, Linda and Gail!

Susan F., our honorary trip leader extraordinaire, was not able to join us for this hike, but she would have been proud of us.  We didn't get lost, we kept a fast pace, and we covered 5.75 miles in under 2 hours (over lots of hills!) We even hiked a couple of new trails that added some spice to the hike.
