The Gold Branch trails were nice and dry this evening, so our shoes stayed clean!  We did as planned, hiking 5 miles in an hour and 45 minutes.  We had two new AOC members with us - - Marc, on his first event, and Shari, on her second. Both were fit and kept up with the group without any difficulty. They are two very friendly people - - a great addition to our hiking family.

Our first photo was orchestrated by Mark F., who noticed that our shirts represented just about all the colors of the rainbow.  Only blue was missing.  And then Shari arrived . . . in a blue top!  Perfection! We had all the colors of the rainbow for our second photo, making us an extremely festive looking group.  ~ Joyce
