Eighteen on this morning's Island Ford trek! No rain, but lots of heat. Twelve folks gathered at the North River Tavern for the post-hike burger extravaganza, including our newest members, Ken and John.

Despite the large group, everyone stayed together beautifully, covering almost 5 miles in less than two hours. We even had a short muscadine sampling break and a couple of stops for water and pictures. What a great morning hike!
