There are usually no photos on the fitness hike, but tonight was an exception, because Toni spotted some unusual mushrooms in a meadow next to the parking lot.  I grabbed my camera and followed her to the spot, discovering a fairy ring of mushrooms!  Nice!  I took a group photo inside the ring, and then we were off . . .

We took a different route tonight and went across the cliffs . . . something we've not done before on the fitness hike.  It slowed us down a bit, but we made up for lost time by picking up the speed on the rest of the hike.  We averaged about 3.6 mph - - and we sweated!  ~  Joyce
