The 3 newcomers to the AOC (Caroline, Marc, and Will) kept the pace just like the more tenured hikers.  Was a bit chilly at the start but once we got going, it was actually rather nice.  The wind was reduced as we went through the woods but by the lake, we did a blast of the winter cold.  Erik was thinking summer was still here with his shorts vs the rest of us bundled up like winter.  A deer stood pose for us towards the end of the hike.  She was not the least bit nervous sharing the trails with us.  Andy and Karen...thanks for making the long haul to hiker with us.
