Today is Olin S's birthday! We helped him celebrate with a wonderful 5 mile hike (his first on this side of town) and a great after-hike lunch at the North River Tavern. Willow (Sharon's malamute) began behaving strangely toward the end of the hike, anxiously pulling her along the trail. It evolved that Willow's sister, Sitka, was on a nearby trail with Sharon's husband, Rick . . . and Willow wanted to connect with them! Good nose work, Willow! ~ Joyce
