First hike for Annette today...welcome to the AOC.  Enjoyed co-leading with Eva, who was more than "middle management" this hike as she led the group around the lollipop and the "magical pond".  The group kept a nice pace and we all stayed together.  Karen tried out her new poles from REI and did very well with them.  We saw a turkey buzzard, a rather large one, on a tree limb looking around at us but was completely content that we were in his house.  Thanks everyone for coming out on the trails today.  Hope to see everyone again very soon.
