Write Up:
We left the carpool location at 6:35am and made it to Tallulah Gorge SP a little before 8:00am. Others were quickly pulling into the parking lot to grab their permits to make it down to the gorge. We all had a short orientation and then we were on our way to the natural waterslide. We crossed a suspension bridge 80 feet above the rocky bottom and descended the Hurricane Falls staircase. The rocky hike to our little slice of Heaven was a little strenuous, but everyone did very well. We made it to the natural waterslide within an hour and a half of starting the hike. We really enjoyed each others company. Hours were spent just playing in the sun. To end the enjoyment of the day, all of us went down the slide together for a race to see who gets to the bottom first. It was a really FUN day!
