Itinerary:

This is a fitness hike for intermediate to advanced hikers and for those training for longer hikes, backpacking, mountain climbing, or other endurance adventure trips. The hike is approximately 10 miles round trip with an average to fast hiking speed and only a few rest breaks. We will start at the top of the falls. From the trailhead, we will hike the AT Approach trail for 4 miles, then turn onto the Len Foote Trail and hike a mile to Len Foote hike Inn.  We will stop at the Inn for a short snack break, then continue back via the Len Foote route. We should be back in Atlanta around early afternoon.

Notes:
1. You are welcome to carry a weighted down backpack if you are training for an adventure or backpacking trip, but it's not a requirement on this hike.
2. The Trip Leader(s) reserve the right to remove anyone from the list who they feel cannot handle this trip.

Please plan on bringing a light snack for the Hike Inn break. The Hike Inn will have water and coffee. Also, sometimes, there may be some desserts and/or fruit available. If you choose to partake at the Hike Inn, there is no charge, but please be prepared to show your appreciation with a tip.
