Itinerary:

Saturday is supposed to reach 50 degrees!

Island Ford has some great hiking trails and it's also the location of the Chattahoochee National Recreation Area Park Headquarters and Visitor Contact Station. We will hike almost 5.5 miles of these trails at a moderate to fast pace, including sections along the river as well as in the woods. The are a few hills, but nothing too strenuous. We will visit the Magical Pond!

The meeting point will be at the Visitors' Center parking lot. You can purchase an annual parking pass at the Visitors' Center.

If you bring your dog, it should be able to keep up with the group and interact well with other dogs and people. All dogs must be on a leash at all times and owners must be prepared to clean up after their dogs, if necessary.
