Itinerary:

Join us for a hike at a moderate pace in this scenic state park with a stop at the Len Foote Hike Inn for lunch. We will begin from the parking lot at the top of the falls, taking the AT approach trail before looping over to the Hike Inn for lunch, then returning on the Hike Inn trail. Lemonade, coffee, and other beverages are usually available at the Len Foote Inn, along with various snacks, for a small donation. However, you may want to bring something more substantial for lunch. This is an event for experienced D4 hikers. The trip leaders may contact any registrant who does not have D4 or D5 experience, or whom they believe may have difficulty with the hike.

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $41.60 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Notes:

The Len Foote Inn often graciously provides coffee, tea, fruit and leftovers as snacks for day hikers. Please remember to bring enough money to tip appropriately if you choose to take advantage of this courtesy.

However, there is no guarantee food will be available when we arrive, so your trip leaders highly recommend you bring a lunch also. :)

$5.00 State Park Fee unless you have an annual park pass.
