Itinerary:

Let's enjoy the beautiful Spring weather! Join me for an evening walk down the Beltline and a beer or a bite afterwards at Park Tavern.

We'll meet at the 10th Street and Monroe Dr NE entrance of the Beltline, across from Piedmont Park. Our route will take us along the Eastside Trail from the park, through Old Fourth Ward and Inman Park, all the way to Irwin Street, where we will explore the stores of the Krog Street Market. Then we will turn around and head back to the park.

The total distance will be about 4-5 miles. The trail is paved and very populated the entire way. The pace will be a steady 2.5+ miles/hour. Please make sure you are able to keep a steady pace with us for 4+ miles.

Please be aware that we must stick together as a group. If you desire to do your own thing and not stick with the group, this is not the event for you. Please be sure to bring a flashlight. If you are uncomfortable walking back to your car afterwards, the trip leader will be happy to escort you.

water, gatorade or whatever you like to keep hydrated (important)
headlamp or flashlight
comfortable shoes
snacks to fuel yourself
sunscreen/bug spray if necessary
appropriate clothing
epi pen/inhaler if you need one

Coordinates for the 10th Street and Monroe Dr NE entrance of Piedmont Park. Meet us at this entrance. We will leave on time whether you are there or not. Please give yourself plenty of time to park and walk to the entrance to meet us. Parking is available for free along most of the residential roads near Piedmont Park as well as alongside the park itself.
