Come and enjoy a warm spring like afternoon with low humidity. The forecast for Wednesday is for Sunny skies with a high of 79.  It should be just a beautiful evening for a hike by the River.

We will meet at the Visitor Center parking lot which is at the end of Island Ford Parkway.

We’ll cover 5.5-6 miles and zig-zag around the park trails. We’ll go around the tranquil Pond, walk our way to the River trail and go up some of the back hills and maybe even the loolipop trail. We'll have a few water breaks and enjoy the scenery, but expect to keep a steady moderate pace throughout the hike.

Restrooms will not be available after 5pm which is when the Visitor Center closes.

If you do not have an annual CRNRA parking pass, you will need to purchase the $3 daily pass at the pay station in the parking lot.

The hike will start promptly at 5:45 pm.( Sunset 7:58pm)  Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to meet everyone before we start

Three dogs will be allowed but they must be on a leash at all times in accordance with the Park Rules. Please sign your dog up.
