This note is here so that you can make an informed decision. When a Trip Leader isn't personally familiar with a trip, there is an increased chance of things not going as planned and you need to be prepared. The Trip Leader may have additional details in the itinerary.

Itinerary:

Join me for a moderate hike through Freedom Park, Candler Park, and the Little Five Points. Starting at the Carter Center, we'll trek our way through Freedom Park along the Path Foundation trail west to Candler Park. We'll make a loop by heading south along Clifton Road and turning back at McClendon Ave. Along the way we'll see some historic homes and interesting neighborhoods. Part of the loop will take us through the Little Five Points area and near Inman Park. We'll end the loop back at the Carter Center.

We'll meet at the round about in front of the Carter Center and will start the hike at 9:30am.

NOTE: If the forecast for rain is higher than 50%, this event will be canceled.

Optional: After the hike, I'll head over to the Inman Park Festival for a few hours. Anyone is welcome to join me. It will be only a few blocks away. http://inmanparkfestival.org/

We'll meet at the roundabout in front of the Carter Center. Parking is free in the Carter Center lots. To get to the Carter center take the major highways to the I75/I85 connector and proceed to the Freedom Parkway exit. Take this road east for about a mile and you'll arrive at the Carter Center.
