Itinerary:

Let's paddle on the beautiful Stone Mountain Park Lake.  Stone Mountain park is one of Atlanta's premier destinations housing many fun and exicting activites.  We will see the park from a different point of view for a change, the Lake!  If we are lucky, we may see fellow AOCer's taking on the infamous Cherokee Trail.

Our trip will take us around most of the lake's shoreline, under the covered bridge, past the Golf Course and Campground then back to the main boat slip.

You are required to bring your own boat for this event.  This is a 6.5 mile paddle, so please ensure you can manage this distance comfortably especially if the wind picks up.

There is an $15 parking fee to enter the park. A yearly pass can be purchased for $40.
