Itinerary:

Start time is 6PM. That means we leave at 6 PM. get there early. Park along side the road in case we get back after the gate closes. We will start at the visitors center. We will hike to the top of Kennesaw Mountain. From there, we will head across Little Kennesaw Mountain. At this point we will up the pace a bit (probably a slow jog). We will be doin the route opposite the direction most AOC after work hikes go. We will be doing this so we can get some slow trail jogging in on the back side. Nothing fast. The total hiking distance is about 5.5 miles. The trail is mostly rolling hills. You should be good to excellent condition for this hike!!

Lots and lots of water or Gatorade Good hiking shoes or trail shoes. Snack

I-75 North to Exit 269, Barrett Parkway; turn left off the exit onto Barrett Parkway; travel approx 3 miles and turn left onto Old Hwy 41; at the next light turn right onto Stilesboro Road; the park visitors center is immediately on your left.
NOTE: The parking lot is sometimes full. There is additional parking along Hwy 41 just before turning onto Stilesboro Road.Meet at 10:00 a.m. at the cannon outside the main entrance of the visitor center.
