Itinerary:
Easy to Moderate

The trail follows Panther Creek though stands of white pine and hemlock along steep, rocky bluffs of the creek. The trail passes a series of cascades and Panther Creek Falls. At Panther Creek Falls we will stop for lunch. After this break we will return to the parking area following the same trail we came in on. The roundtrip is ~ 7 miles.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Gaineville, GA Sunday 22 June 2003 10:00 am Panther Creek Recreation Area Parking Lot Take I-85 N/GA-403 N toward Greenville. Then take the I-985 N/Lanier Pkwy exit, exit number 113, on the left toward Gainesville. Merge onto GA-365 N, which becomes US-23 N/US-441 N. Take US 441 north from Cornelia continue 16 miles. Turn left onto Glen Hardman Road, (at sign for Panther Creek Recreation Area) then right onto Old 441 for 1 mile to the parking lot on the left.

Notes:

Dogs will not be Permitted.

This event will occur with rain or shine.

Cost Includes:$2.00 Day use Parking fee per vehicle, paid at the park
