Itinerary:

Grab your favorite, friendly pooch for an early morning hike on the 'Hooch.

The Gold Branch area of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area offers several miles of trails that border the river and Bull Sluice Lake, which was created by the construction of Morgan Falls Dam in 1904.

We will hike along the shore of the lake and then into the woods above to cover around 4.5 miles. Rather than just circling the park, we will do an out and back hike with a loop at the end.  We will be hiking at a leisurely to moderate pace.

Please remember to bring $3 cash for the National Park Service parking fee, unless you have a Chattahoochee NRA annual pass.

All dogs must be well-behaved and friendly towards people and dogs of all sizes.  Owners must keep their dogs on a leash at all times and clean up after their pets on the trail.
