Itinerary:

Olde Rope Mill Park is primarily a park of mountain biking trails.   You will see many mountain bikers, a few dog walkers, and those of us with kayaks, entering and exiting Little River. This will be a six mile paddle on mostly flat water.  We will be going downstream and upstream, but there is not much of a current on the way back up.  So, this paddle is suitable for beginners, but remember, you will be paddling the entire trip.

We will begin by paddling upstream towards the old mill ruins. We will then paddle back downstream for approximately 45 minutes until we reach the waterfall.  We will stop here for a few minutes to take pictures and enjoy the view.

Next, we will head on towards Lake Allatoona, but will not be entering the large lake, so boat traffic will still be at a minimum.  There is a small beach area, where we can stop and have a snack for about 15 minutes, before we paddle back upstream to the take out.

We will be eating lunch at Which Wich (close by at the Outlet Mall), and would love for you to join us, but this is optional.
