Itinerary:

Join me for a daytime Wednesday kayak/canoe float on the Chattahoochie.  There will be NO SHUTTLE and no parking fee.

We'll leave from Azalea Drive and paddle downstream to Morgan Falls Dam.  There isn't much current in this section of the river so paddling upstream from the Dam is commonplace.  On the way back from the Dam we'll explore Huntcliff Trace Creek.

Paddle plan:

3.5 mi.  Azalea Drive to Morgan Falls Dam

0.5 mi.  Morgan Falls Dam back to Huntcliff Trace Creek

2.0 mi.  Huntcliff Trace Creek  RT

3.0 mi.  Huntcliff Trace Creek  back to Azalea Drive

Total distance … 9 mi.
