AOC 2nd Annual - BOO at the ZOO - Candy Giveaway


Looking for a scary fun time? Like kids? Enjoy supporting the community? Join us during the witching hours to support Zoo Atlanta at the upcoming Fun Family Halloween Festival called BOO at the ZOO!!

Join us on Friday, Oct 24 at Zoo Atlanta in Grant Park at 4:15 p.m. Zoo Atlanta has asked for the AOC's exclusive support on this day. I am looking for 45 members and guests to simply help pass out candy, have fun with the kids and support the zoo during the event.

You must show up in costume, although it need not be elaborate. Remember there will be small kids, so keep it rated G or PG and not too scary.

As a reward for your efforts, the Zoo will give each participant two free future admission tickets for the Zoo. In addition, the AOC will supply pizza & beverages!! Not bad for 6 hours of fun with kids, eh?

Comfortable shoes as you'll be on your feet the whole time.

Notes:
  • RAIN or SHINE event
  • Come in Costume but nothing scary. This is a kid-friendly event.
  • Zoo will provide candy to give to the children.
  • Pizza and Beverages will be provided by AOC.

Important information for paid events in which payment is managed through the AOC:

     - Payment must be received by the payment due date and prior to participation in the event.

     - Some paid events require a minimum number of registered participants. If that number is not met, the event will be canceled and refunds will be issued to those who have already paid.

     - Third-party vendors often require damage deposits. Each registrant agrees to be liable for and required to reimburse the Atlanta Outdoor Club for any withheld deposits due to the actions of or damages caused by that registrant.

     - No partial payments. All registrants must pay the posted Member Cost regardless of any agreement you may have with any party involved in the event.

     - Read the event description carefully for additional information, and contact the trip leader(s) with any questions.

* We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines while participating in AOC events.
