Want some excitement and adventure to round out your year? Well, join me for the New River Gorge’s Bridge Day & some AWESOME whitewater! It is only one day out of the year, so we’ve gotta go! The New River Gorge Bridge is the longest single spanned arch bridge in the world, and it is approximately 870 feet above the New River. On Bridge day, they allow people to base-jump and parachute off of the New River Gorge Bridge—and I am arranging for us to be on the river to watch the festivities!

Then on Sunday, we will raft the Upper Gauley river which will also be an all day-er. Both these rivers are amazing rivers with World Class Rapids, plus how beautiful will the scenery be with the changing leaves!?? So, come join the fun!

Fri, Oct 17th—drive to New River Gorge—approx 7 hours so that day would be taken off from work. Pitch our tents and enjoy our evening at NARR—North American River Runners' campground.

Sat, Oct 18th—raft the Lower New River on Bridge Day while people are jumping off the New River Gorge Bridge, breakfast & deli-style lunch provided by NARR on river. Prime Rib Dinner (also providede) and Festivities in evening, and video of the day’s run, hang out at camp.

Sun, Oct 19th—raft Upper Gauley**—Upper has 5 Class V+’s(14’ 6 person self-bailing raft), breakfast & deli-style lunch provided by NARR on river, and our video of the day’s run in evening, hang out at camp.

Mon, Oct 20th—drive home so that day would be taken off.
