Sunday Morning hike to Stone Mountain's summit X2.

We will start out at a moderate pace and plan on reaching the summit, take a few moments and then head down. We turn around at the parking lot and do it all again!! I encourage everyone to do TWO TIMES, but at least try and if you have to turn around you'll have at least done ONE PLUS TIMES.

THE HIKE WILL START FROM THE CONFEDERATE HALL PARKING LOT NEAR THE BATHROOMS AT 7:00 AM.

Entrance to Stone Mountain is $15 per vehicle per visit or $40 for an annual pass.

Directions To Confederate Hall Parking Lot:

From I-285 take U.S. Hwy 78 East (Snellville/Athens) exit.

Travel about 7 miles and take Exit 8, the Stone Mountain Park Main Entrance.

After entering the main entrance, proceed straight ahead. The road will fork at about 1 mile - stay to the right.

Continue to follow the road for another mile. Confederate Hall will be on your left.

The parking lot will be immediately after.

We will meet in front of the restrooms just before the walk-up trail.
