The grandeur of the Canadian Rockies stuns even the well traveled. Against this majestic backdrop of soaring snowcapped peaks, we engage in a wonderful variety of fun-filled activities during a week-long trip. Youll experience the breathtaking beauty of Banff National Park in Alberta, via hiking, trail riding, and more! Well be meeting up with members of the Maryland Outdoor Club and Calgary Outdoor Club (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) for a whirlwind adventure through Southwest Canada. The COC president will be your guide! Her in-depth knowledge of the local geography, natural history, and culture will help us in experiencing the best of features in this area. COCs carefully selected itinerary features not only this regions renowned sights, but also the lesser-known treasures that make this part of the world so special. The final itinerary is set! |Event Directions:||Calgary, Alberta, Canada Meet at the airport on July 21st We are going to be doing group travel, flying out the morning of July 21st. MOC members will be flying out of BWI; AOC members will be flying out of ATL. We will supply group transportation when we get there, or you can feel free to rent your own mode of transportation.|
Events - Payments
Your reservation for any event is not complete until you have paid for the event prior to the event registration cut off date. Check with the event details and see if you owe money to the club for your reservation or if you owe it to the outfitter upon arrival. (It will say at the bottom of the event page under Cost & Payment). You can pay for your reservation via PayPal, Cash, or Check/Money Order (listed in order of preference). See below for details on each.
You MUST sign up for an event prior to paying, in order to guarantee your spot!
PayPal - This will allow you to pay for events using your credit or debit card, as well as automatic withdraws through your bank account. Here is how you can pay for your event using PayPal...
If you dont have a (free) PayPal account (we suggest signing up and adding funds to your PayPal account no later than one week prior to your money being due to the treasurer):

Click the link to Sign Up Now (its free to get an account)
Fill out the questions on the form to get your account set up
Once your account is set-up (check your e-mail for info), then log into PayPal
Follow the online prompts to get your credit card added to your account or add funds from your checking account
Once you have either your credit card or funds in your account, click the Send Money tab at the top
Put in firstname.lastname@example.org as the Recipients E-mail
Put in the total that you owe for Amount
Put Service for Type
Put in the event title for Subject
Put in the name(s) of who you are paying for in the Note field (very important so we know who to mark as paid)
On the next page, select No Shipping Address Required

Note that details of this event are subject to undergo a change at any point in time, with or without warning.
*Registration is NOT COMPLETE until youve signed up and paid by the registration cut off date. The money must be in the MOCs possession by that date. No exceptions.

|Cost Includes:||Cost will vary dependant on the activities you select for your personalized itinerary. After you register for the trip, please fill out the online calculator to determine your trip price. You will need to select your itinerary prior to making your final payment, and the MOC is holding a special meeting in Jan 2004 so you can meet and greet the other attendees and pick your agenda and roommate (if you need one).|
A $700 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of your reservation. The remaining cost is due by May 7th, and the hotel/outfitter portion of that fee will also not be refundable. This is because the money has already been handed over to book your spot. Your final cost will depend on the selections you make - expect it to be between $1200 and $1700.
If you choose to pay your event fee via PayPal, versus check, there will be a $100 service fee in addition to your event fee. More details and a break out of the pricing coming soon.
