Itinerary:

We will go at a moderately slow pace and take the easier way up the mountain - it reaches the same elevation just more gradually. We will take it slowly and stop and gather up as needed. If you've knocked out other D2s and are ready to add some elevation, this is the hike for you.  This is not the hike for you if you haven't left the couch in months, likewise this isn't the hike for you if you're looking for a fast paced fitness hike. The view from the top is incredible and well worth the effort.

We will leave on time even if you aren't there yet.   :)

Located north of Atlanta in Cumming, Georgia, Sawnee Mountain Preserve provides visitors with 963 acres of scenic passive space, hiking trails and an interactive Visitor Center.
