Saturday morning, we will hike/walk through Morgan Falls Overlook Park. This is one of SandySpring’s most visited parks. The park consists of a 30-acre riverside park in which there are picnic pavilions, playground, restrooms, boat dock, hiking trail, fire pit, porch swings, and scenic views. The view of Bull Sluice Lake in the morning is goregous as well as the landscapes of Overlook Park.

We will be hiking at a moderate pace and plan to complete a three-mile hike in 1 hour. This is an easy trail to walk around the park, so this event is perfect for beginners or those who want to get morning exercise. We will meet at 8 AM at the dog park below Morgan Falls Overlook Park. The address is 200 Morgan Falls Rd, Sandy Springs, GA. When you reach the intersection to either turn into the Overllok Park Parking lot (which is Right side) or Left to the dog walking park, remember to turn left and follow the road to the bottom parking lot. This will end at the dog park. This will give us a little bit more distance for walking and some other great views. I look forward to hiking with everyone!

Beginners are welcome as this is an easy hike which allows us the opportunity to chat as we hike!

**We will meet at 8 AM at the dog park below Morgan Falls Overlook Park. The address is 200 Morgan Falls Rd, Sandy Springs, GA. However, instead of turning right to park in the Overlook Park Parking Lot, turn left and follow the dead end to the dog park, parking lot as the Overlook parking lot is usually full early.

Water, hiking or athletic shoes. Parking is free and there are bathrooms at the trailhead.

However, instead of turning right to park in the Overlook Park Parking Lot, turn left and follow the dead end to the dog park parking lot as the Overlook parking lot is usually full early. This will also give us some extra mileage, so that we can complete a three mile hike.
