Itinerary:

Hey all, the weather looks like it's going to be great to bust out and dust off your bikes from their winter hibernation and come out for a ride. We will meet at the entrance to the Noonday Creek Trail located at 3001 Bells Ferry Road. Lets plan on arriving no later than 10:20 to make introductions and prepare hit the trail by 10:00 AM.

Our 10 mile ride to the Marietta square begins on a nice paved trail. As we proceed we will make our way towards Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park. After we pass Kennesaw Mountain we will continue on the trail riding along Kennesaw Avenue and around mile 9 will have to ride on the road and into the square. Upon arriving in the square we will dine at Stockyard for an excellent lunch, tell stories and get to know each other a little better. After lunch is over we will head back the same way we came for a total of a 20 mile workout.

The pace will be moderate and there are a few hills to negotiate but overall this is a pretty easy ride. Please remember to bring a helmet, bike lock and tire repair items in case of a flat. If anyone needs a bike lock I have two spares that I would be happy to loan out for the trip. Should anyone need a lock let me know prior to leaving. I look forward to seeing you all for a great pre spring ride together.

NOTE: For safety, helmet required to be worn during this event.  No helmet, no bike ride.
