Ladies and Gents,

It's been a while, but im headed back underground!!!!

Tumbling Rock is a Legendary cave in Scottsboro Al. There is plenty to see and do, and I can make this a beginners group and send some of the more adventure seeking cavers into some fun times.

I plans on being inside for about 3.5-5 hours, eating dinner, and coming back saturday night.

Required Items to Bring:

Caving Items: (print and use as a checklist/ you need everything if you are coming into the cave)

Caving Helmet (no bike helmets)

Headlamp (Waterproof)

2 other light sources minimum

plenty of batteries

backpack/fanny pack (small)

water (1 bottled water is fine)

snacks (nothing that can spill onto the ground)

longsleeve shirt (synthetic materials only, no cotton)

shortsleeve shirt (synthetic materials only, no cotton)

long pants or shorts (no jeans or cotton)

boots (no steel toe / hard sole / no 5fingers)

gloves (no cotton)

kneepads (no hard plastics)

elbowpads (no hard plastics)

towell

trashbag for dirty clothes

change of clothes!!!!!

To me, TR is mostly a hot/dry cave. With all the rain there is probably a good chance your feet will be wet. Those passages are in the beginning so just a thought bring extra socks.

I prefer to waer a light longsleeve shirt and shorts with light leg liners. I run hot so that might freeze/kill someone who is cold natured.

There is also a water crawl on the way out that i prefer to send people who havent done it through....so if you think you can handle it, i might just join ya!!!!!

I also have 2 helmets and lights for rent, $10 a set (because i have to clean it all)
