Our friends at the Eddie Bauer in the East Cobb Avenue store have invited us to a presentation by Michael Williams about his adventures of hiking the 2,650 mile Pacific Crest trail. Topics covered will include a description of the PCT, his experiences on the PCT, ideas for planning a long hike, along with gear and clothing recommendations.

Michael has hiked all over the world including Great Britain, Russia, Ecuador, Western Nepal, and Antarctica, just to name a few. His presentation is sure to be filled with amazing stories and valuable information for our AOC adventurers!

Michael is the Author of Not Too Wild: Reflections of Completing a Thru-Hike of the Pacific Crest Trail.

Eddie Bauer will be providing appetizers and pizza from Brixx Restuarant in the East Cobb Avenue. All attendees will receive 20% of any purchases that night, and there will be a drawing for a $50 Eddie Bauer gift certificate!

There will be limited chairs for seating - so arrive by 6:30 to claim yours! Michael's presentation will start at 7:00.

EDDIE BAUER in theEast Cobb Avenue is located at 4475 Roswell Rd, #300, Marietta, GA 30338. The store's phone number is 770-578-8792.

DIRECTIONS from GA-400:
1. From the GA-400/ I-285 Interchange take GA- 400 North about 1 mile and get off at Exit #2B "Abernathy Road," which will direct you toward Sandy Springs.
2. Drive west on Abernathy Road and continue on it after it merges with Johnson Ferry Road for a total of about 6.4 miles (from the GA-400 exit) to the traffic light at GA- 120.
3. Turn Right (off Johnson Ferry Rd) onto GA-120 (Upper Roswell Rd), go just 0.4 mile and look for "The Avenue" shopping mall on your left.
4. Turn Left into the mall parking lot, then bear left and look for the Eddie Bauer store
