Itinerary:

Join me for a relaxinig Friday evening on the shores of Carter's Lake! We will drive to the Amadahy trail head and plan to begin hiking at 6:30PM. The camp site is at approximately mile 1.8 of this loop trail. We will venture off-trail down the primitive service road and in about 1/4 mile will be at our campsite.

Note: the trail itself is pretty level and follows the lake shore. If we are short on time to catch the sunset we can take the access road the entire way, although it has several steeper sections.

We will quickly setup camp and watch the sun disappear behind the treeline and dam (sunset is 8:20). Bring a dinner to be made over the fire and we will enjoy eachother's company until bed time.

In the morning, we'll make breakfast, pack up our gear, and hike the remaining 2 (approximately) miles back to the cars.
