Itinerary:

Please join us for a (not so freaky) Friday the 13th morning hike through the beautiful Vickery Creek Unit of the CNRA.  We will cover 4 - 4.5 miles at a moderate pace.  We will make a few stops to enjoy the view around the Vickery Dam falls and the covered bridge but will otherwise we will be maintaining a steady pace for a good workout.  There are some moderate climbs but nothing too difficult.  The trail can be rocky and root-laden in places. This hike is suitable for beginners who are ready to move up to D2s and/or whom are comfortable at a 2.5 mph pace. 

We are meeting at the Oxbo Road parking lot for this hike.   There is no parking fee at this location. Detailed directions are below.

We will start promptly at 10:00 am, please arrive at least 5 minutes early for check-ins and introductions. There is no bathroom at this entrance so plan accordingly.

We will meet at the Oxbo parking lot on Oxbo Road, off of Route 9/120, Atlanta Street, Roswell GA. There is a gas station on the corner of Atlanta Street and Oxbo where you have to turn.  The lot is on your right about 1/2 mile down the road.
