Itinerary:

Get a good Memorial Day run in at this beautiful trail.  You can still sleep in and don't have to drive far to enjoy this event.

We will start from our Trailhead and go up the West Loop going in counterclock wise direction to the summit.  We will continue up to the Summit Overlook before heading down the the East Trail loop. Before completing the East Trail loop we will take a jog on the Coopers Furnace connector trail and head over to the view above Lake Allatoona before heading back to the East Trail with our climb back up to the Summit.  This run should equal about 8-10 miles.  It will be a moderate pace and all level of runners are welcome to join.


Required Items to Bring:

Plenty of water.

Comfortable running shoes.

Event Directions:

Take I-75 North, Exit 288. Go East (right) less than a mile until the road ends, then right at Komatsu sign. Parking area for the West Loop Trailhead is on the left before entering Komatsu.
