Itinerary:

Join me for a day of hiking and swimming in the Cohutta Wilderness. There are many trails in the Cohuttas that lead into Jacks Falls, but Beech Bottom is the easiest way to get there and enjoy a nice long lunch break and swim.  I plan to spend about 2 hours at the falls to swim and explore.  Jack's River Falls is one of the most scenic waterfalls in Georgia and has an upper and lower swimming hole. The easy to moderate trail is 4 miles one way with another .6 miles to the falls. This trail is a good D3 hike for people that want to "take the next step" from metro Atlanta D3's.    Total hiking distance is 9.2 miles.

If you plan to meet near the event please be at the McDonald's Parking lot in Chatsworth, GA at 9am.
