Are you ready for a relaxing weekend with fun people in a huge cabin in the mountains? Then come out to this annual event and join in on the fun activities! We’ll enjoy the game room, hot tub, and each other’s company. Some of you may enjoy a leisurely nearby hike, go into town, or just relax in the hot tub or play a game of pool. It has a private pool, hot tub, pool table, a lake with a canoe, TV with a DVD player, and a ping pong table. It also has a foos-ball table, electronic Pac-Man cocktail table game, 2 - fireplaces, board games, and puzzles. It's a 4 bedroom and 3.5 bath cabin that sleeps 16. There’s also a huge outdoor fire pit to enjoy a warm fire and roast marshmallows. The menu includes Friday dinner - spaghetti (with and without meat); Saturday morning - pancakes, eggs, fruit, and sausage; Saturday afternoon – sandwiches and chips; Saturday dinner – chicken and beef tacos, rice, and beans; and Sunday morning – eggs, French toast, fruit, and bacon.

Extra clothes and towels, bathing suit, robe (might be nice for getting in and out of the hot tub), camp chair, hiking shoes, camera, beverage of choice and toiletries.

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $48.00 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Important information for paid events in which payment is managed through the AOC:

     - Payment must be received by the payment due date and prior to participation in the event.

     - Some paid events require a minimum number of registered participants. If that number is not met, the event will be canceled and refunds will be issued to those who have already paid.

     - Third-party vendors often require damage deposits. Each registrant agrees to be liable for and required to reimburse the Atlanta Outdoor Club for any withheld deposits due to the actions of or damages caused by that registrant.

     - No partial payments. All registrants must pay the posted Member Cost regardless of any agreement you may have with any party involved in the event.

     - Read the event description carefully for additional information, and contact the trip leader(s) with any questions.

Cost Includes:Your stay at the cabin plus all of your meals for the entire weekend. Deposit of $50 w/in two weeks of siging up required to hold your spot. The remaining $49 will be due by Jan. 8th. Failure to meet either payment deadline would risk being removed from the trip and replaced with someone on the waiting list. Anyone signing up or moved from the waitlist after Jan. 8th, payment is due the same day.

Deposit is refundable less $10 if you cancel on or before Jan. 8th. No refunds after Jan. 8th, unless replaced.

Please allow two days for processing a PayPal transaction and one week for a check.
