Itinerary:

Come join me for a fun and relaxing paddle on the Chattahoochee River  Sunday evening!

Our paddle begins at Azalea Park in which we make our way down river towards Bull Sluice Lake for about 3 miles. Once we pass the cliffs and see some great views of the Chattahoochee, we will make our way back. Depending on our time, I would like to paddle all the way to Bull Sluice and back.

This is a relaxing paddle. So,  we will maintain a moderate steady pace and finish by 7:30 pm.

Special Invitation

After the event, for those of you who would like to go eat there is a nice place right up the street "North River Tavern". It is optional,  of course, but I wanted to give this option one to go eat (reward after the paddle), celebrate Ray's first co-lead (YAY!!), enjoy being with a great group of people, welcome our newcomers, encourage others around to join the AOC,  and enjoy a wonderful place to eat! They have great burgers, fish, salads, and etc. (reasonably priced). Plus, we can sit out on the patio for more fresh air. Be ready to laugh and have fun!

I hope to see you at the event and hopefully for dinner!!!

Parking: If the parking lot is full, no problem. We pull up to the launch and drop our boats (leave someone to watch them) and park along the road. Usually around the time of the event, the parking lot has started to clear out.
