Itinerary:
We will arrive at Atlanta Airport to catch plane to San Francisco. When we arrive we will pick up rental van and drive to Yosemite. Once there we will pickup permit and then go to campground for the night. We will start hike August 2nd at Happy Isles (Elevation 4040’) and hike to Nevada Falls (Elevation 6120’) for Lunch. From there we will hike to Little Yosemite Valley (Elev.7000’) after we summit Half Dome and explore summit we will then return to trail junction and hike another .5 miles where we will take trail to Cloud Rest (Elev.9926'). We will descend to have lunch, after lunch we will hike to Tenaya Lake to camp. From Tenaya Lake we will hike over and camp at Glen Aulin. The Next morning we will hike to Tuolumne Meadows to pick up food resupply at post office and have lunch at Tuolumne Meadows Restaurant for lunch (hamburgers um um). After we have lunch and rest we will hike thru Lyell Canyon to past 4 mile mark and find a campsite to camp. Next morning we will hike up to Donahue Pass (Elev. 11000’) after we explore and have lunch we will hike down other side of Pass to find a campsite. The next morning we will backtrack to Ireland Creek Trail to Evelyn Lake (elev. 10,334’) for lunch and then hike to Fletcher Lake to camp. The next day hike to Vogelsang Camp and turn onto Lewis Creek Trail where we will go over Vogelsang Pass (Elev. 11,516’) and finally end the day at Merced Lake Campground. The Next day we will hike next to Merced River to Little Yosemite Valley for the evening. The next day we will leave our packs and tent and day hike to Mist Trail and Vernal Falls where we will have lunch around Vernal Falls Where one can go swimming if they like. From there we will hike back to Little Yosemite Valley for the night. The next morning we will hike out to Happy Isles and back to our car from there we will go to Housekeeping to take showers and then go to Yosemite Valley to Wilderness Center to return our bear canister. From there we will drive to Glacier Point and then on to Mariposa Grove and then return to San Francisco for flight back home. Payment shhedule below: You are not signed up until you pay deposit. Do not signup if you think you might not be able to do mandatory meetings and or hike. Other Notes: no refunds the only way is for you to find someone to take your place before June 1st or I will add someone to take your place from waiting list if there is someone on waiting list Below is listed the mileage per day. 1- Happy Isles to Little Yosemite Valley- 4.5 miles about 2200’ elevation gain. 2- LYV to Tenaya Lake-14 miles about 8200’ elevation Cloud Rest 9926’ Elev. Cloud Rest will be before we get to Tenaya Lake. 3-Tenaya Lake to Glen Aulin 7.5 miles about 8200’ elev. 4- Glen Aulin to somewhere in Lyell Canyon 8.8 miles 10,000’ elev. 5- Lyell Canyon to Donahue Pass and return 8.5 miles 10,900’ elev 6- Lyell Canyon to Evelyn Lake 14.5 miles 11,400 elev 7- Evelyn Lake to Merced Camp 8 miles 8900’ elev 8- Merced Camp to LYV 7 miles 7200’ elev 9- LYV to Happy Isles 7 miles 4032’ elev 10- Camp in the valley and drive to Glacier Point and then drive to Mariposa Grove and then back to S F Airport total milege 75-80 miles

Required Items to Bring:
Tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, stove, water filter, spoon or fork, rain gear, light weight jacket (evenings can get cold), bear canister (can be rented cheap at ranger station) sun hat, long sleeve shirt,(if you are light skin long sleeve might be a must have) sun glasses, lip balm		Recommended Items to Bring:

we will only need 3 stoves (canister type) we will buy fuel when we get to S F). three water filters.

Notes:
This schedule will be followed as close as possible. You will need to be flexible on dates as I might not be able to get permit for those dates but I will try. If not able to get these dates I will get as close as possible. So be sure you are aware of this before you signup and pay deposit. Alcohol beverages will not be allowed on the trip. Trip will start when we pickup rental van. And will end when we exit Happy Isles. Alcohol beverages will not be allowed in rental van at any time. If you will be unable to adhere to no alcohol beverage please do not signup.

Cost Includes:$230.00 this will include 8 trail dinners and van rental and gas, $10.00 per person for food at Tuolumne Meadows and meal at Yosemite Valley August 4th.
