Exercises are first!  For this reason join me for a nice hike in Jones Bridge Park.  We will move at a moderately fast pace over 3 ml/hr to cover about 7 miles with a couple of stops.

We'll meet in the parking lot.  Please give yourself enough time for parking - sometimes it can be pretty full.

We will start our hike Sunday promptly at 9.00 am with the small 8 minutes loop, and come back to the parking lot.  If you are running late, this is your chance to catch the group.  After that we walk along the river towards the pond to the Rivermont Park.  Our first water break will be on the top of the big hill.  We will hike the whole regular trail which ends at Barnwell Road.  Before coming back, we will make a turn to the old trail.  It will give us a chance to climb an extra hill.  We come back through the woods, to the parking lot.  I will make sure you are hiking for 2 hours 30 minutes; so if we come back earlier, we will do the Grand Finale loop one more time.

I like to walk with a small group.  My ideal amount of people is 8 or less.  The maximum amount of people I can take is 10.

This hike is rated as a moderate on a fast end. For the safety of the group if I have previously not hiked with you, I will contact you to be sure this is hike is appropriate for you.

If you can't keep up with this pace, please don't sign up.

Thanks to Garth F. for this beautiful picture!  He made it during our hike.
