This note is here so that you can make an informed decision. When a Trip Leader isn't personally familiar with a trip, there is an increased chance of things not going as planned and you need to be prepared. The Trip Leader may have additional details in the itinerary.

Itinerary:

This is a scenic bike ride starting at the East Roswell Recreation Center. We'll pedal out about 8-9 miles to Gold Branch and then turn around and head back the same way.   This event is a 'no drop' ride geared towards intermediate and advance bike riders, and not beginners.

Along the way we will ride close to the Chattahoochee River and pass by several parks, including Don White Memoria Park, Riverside Park, Vickery Creek, Azalea Park, Atlantas Rowing Club, Chattahoochee Nature Center, and Willeo Park.  We may swing through or stop by some of the parks for quick breaks, restrooms, water, etc.

Our pace is planned to be moderate and we will stay together, unless someone wants to go faster.

Please be aware, we will be riding on streets, bike lanes, bike paths, etc.  You should feel comfortable with road riding in traffic to particpate n this event.  This is not a beginner bike ride.
