Itinerary:

Come join me on a fun hike!!!!   This hike is a moderate D2 due to the distance in the allotted time.

Cheatham Hill / Kolb Farm Loop is relatively flat but does have some hills. The hills are not too steep nor too long. The trail meanders through the Civil War battlefield forest. We will be discovering things from the Civil War period. We might be lucky and see some deer or horses on our hike.

There is NO Parking Fee

Please be sure you are capable of doing the 6 miles in 2.25 hours. We want to stay together as a group & have fun.

We will meet at the parking lot. There are NO restroom facilities at this location. Please arrive by 9:15am for socializing and introductions. We will be starting our hike promptly at 9:30am.

From Metro Atlanta via I-75                                                    957 Cheatham Hill Drive

Take I-75 to Exit 265 (North Marietta Pkwy NE)                           Marietta, GA 30064

Turn LEFT & go 2.3 miles to Whitlock Avenue

Turn RIGHT onto Whitlock Avenue & go 2.7 miles                       33.9374919, -84.5970086

Turn LEFT onto Cheatham Hill Drive

Drive to the end of the road to the parking lot

 

From Roswell Town Square

Take GA-120W & go 15.5 miles (GA-120 consists of the following street names)

     (GA-120W → Roswell Road → S. Park Square NE → Whitlock Avenue NW)

Turn LEFT onto Cheatham Hill Drive

Drive to the end of the road to the parking lot
