This note is here so that you can make an informed decision. When a Trip Leader isn't personally familiar with a trip, there is an increased chance of things not going as planned and you need to be prepared. The Trip Leader may have additional details in the itinerary.

Itinerary:

Please join me for a morning hike at West Palisades - we will all meet in the parking lot along Cobb Parkway.  hike about 1/2 mile on a paved walking trail and then hit the real trails - some minor elevation but we'll take those hills slow.  Hike will be  approximately 2 1/2 hours and we should get in just over six miles

There is a $3.00 parking fee - those that have an annual pass from CRNRA you are good to go, just display pass in your car.  Those that don't have annual can pay at the kiosk in the parking lot - bring $3.00 cash and arrive a few minutes early.

 

HIke will begin promptly at 8:00 - please leave yourself time to hit the restroom and/or purchase your parking pass

 

There are restrooms at this location.

From I-75 North  

Take Exit 256, Mt. Paran Road. Left on Mt. Paran Road to U.S. 41 (Northside Parkway). Turn right on U.S. 41 for 1 mile cross the Chattahoochee and take an immediate right onto entrance road. 

From I-75 South  

Take Exit 256, Mt. Paran Road. Right on Mt. Paran Road to U.S. 41 (Northside Parkway). Turn right on U.S. 41 for 1 mile cross the Chattahoochee and take an immediate right onto entrance road.
