Itinerary:

Join us for a look at "the other side of the river" from the recent hike at Johnson Ferry North.  We'll park in the public parking lot at the end of Morgan Falls Road (near the bathroom facility) and walk the 1 mile path behind the playground.  From there, we'll hike down to the dam and beyond - - to interesting, uncharted trails beyond the dog park.

Morgan Falls Park provides some scenic overlooks of the Bull Sluice Lake, which is a small reservoir of the Chattahoochee River, including a chance to see Gold Branch from the Morgan Falls Dam side of the lake.

Although there are some hills, our pace will be moderate, so we welcome beginnerss who can't handle a fast pace or steep trails.
