Table Rock State Park is located in northern South Carolina at the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains. One of the most popular parks in the state, it was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930’s. We will hike trails in the park past mountain streams and waterfalls and to the tops of Pinnacle and Table Rock mountains.

Due to the trail closures from the wildfires, we will begin our hike at the park’s Nature Center (1160 ft.) and go via the Pinnacle Mountain Trail to the top of Pinnacle Mountain (3425 ft.) and return the same way back to the Nature Center. Next we will hike to Table Rock Mountain (3124 ft.) via the Table Rock Trail and return the same way back to our cars for a total of 4,229 ft in elevation gain for the day.

This is NOT a beginners hike, so please be sure you are in good physical condition.
