Itinerary:

Cherokee Bluffs is an approximate 168-acre park with rolling meadows, streams, natural shoals, and native wildlife (http://www.hallcounty.org/Facilities /Facility/Details/Cherokee-Bluffs-Park- 67). Cherokee Bluffs is a nice trail hidden in Flowery Branch. the bluffs are a section of the trail that have large rock fomations, believed to have been used by local Cherokee tribes. The trail is located in a large park with a pond in its center. The hike does have elevation changes, but they are fairly mild. Many switchbacks offer more mileage in a smaller area. The trail itself is 2.25 miles, we will make a full loop and then go back down the middle alongthe pond via the connector trail and come bck on the main, coming closer to 4 miles. http://www.hallcounty. org/DocumentCenter/View/3102              Dogs must remain on leash in the park and be friendly to ALL others.

We will have an optional lunch before the hike. Attend Laurel Ridge for details.
