The only place in Atlanta where you can find outdoor ice skating is in Centennial Olympic Park! The ice skating rink features a three-inch thick sheet of real ice, covered observation seating, theatrical lighting on the ice and decorative lighting in the trees surrounding the rink.

We will meet at Centennial Park at 3pm, and skate approximately 2 hours. Michelle will arrive shortly before 3, and await the group near the skate rental office. See a picture of Michelle here

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Atlanta, GA We will meet at Centennial Park at 3pm, and skate approximately 2 hours. Michelle will arrive shortly before 3, and await the group near the skate rental office. The directions below take you to the closest parking lot to the Park – the Green Lot. The cost to park in this lot is $6 per day. Parking is also available in other lots around the perimeter of the Park.

From North of Atlanta: Take I-75/85 south to Williams Street (Exit 249C). Turn right on Alexander Street. Turn left on Marietta Street. The Green Lot will be on the right, across the street from Embassy Suites.

From West of Atlanta: Take I-20 east to Spring Street (Exit 56B). Turn left onto Spring Street, then left onto Marietta Street. The Green Lot will be on the left, across the street from Embassy Suites.

From East of Atlanta: Take I-20 west to Spring Street (Exit 56B). Turn right onto Spring Street, then left onto Marietta Street. The Green Lot will be on the left, across the street from Embassy Suites.

Are dogs allowed? No

Is this a rain or shine event? No, this event will be cancelled in the case of inclement weather. We will email cancellations, and post on the website on FRIDAY. Contact your event leader in the case of inclement weather on SATURDAY (contact info will be emailed the week of the event).
