Itinerary:

Sawnee Mountain Preserve is a 963 acre wooded park in Cumming, GA with 11 miles of trails to explore.  We will hike about 10 miles of those trails at a moderate pace through both the original Indian Seats Trail System and the new Mountainside Trail System.  For lunch, we will stop at the Indian Seats, a natural rock formation at the top of the trail system, which offers a beautiful setting to enjoy the views of the North Georgia Mountains.

We will meet in the Sawnee Mountain Preserve 2500 Bettis-Tribble Gap Rd parking lot.

2500 Bettis-Tribble Gap Rd
Cumming, GA 30040

Take GA-400 North to Exit #15 (Bald Ridge Marina Rd/Cumming). Turn left, heading towards downtown Cumming. At the third traffic light, take a right on Bettis Tribble Gap Road (City of Cumming clock tower will be on your right). Go approximately 3 miles and the west entrance to Sawnee Mountain Preserve will be on the right.
