Last minute, yes but the forecast is for Sunny and 70!

We will cover 6 miles at a moderate pace by heading over to the river trail, adventure up a few of the back hills, we will hike the lollipop trail and then loop back around. We will stop to enjoy the scenery and hydrate, but expect to keep a steady pace throughout the hike.

We will meet at the Visitor Center parking lot, which is at the END of Island Ford Parkway.

Definition of a D2 hike: Gentle to moderate elevation gain 400 to 1000 feet, moderate pace generally 4-6 miles.  This hike is not for beginners.

We will start the hike promptly at 4pm.

Please bring a flashlight or headlamp in case we get delayed on the trails.

Up to two dogs can come on the hike. Please register your dog when you RSVP. You must use a leash at all times in accordance with the Park rules.

If you do not have an annual CRNRA parking pass, you will need to purchase the $3 daily pass at the pay station in the parking lot.
