Itinerary:

We will meet at the venue at 10 to fill out forms. Class will begin at 10:30 prompt. There is no late entry. Perfect for complete beginners or experienced shooters.

What is skeet shooting? Skeet is a recreational and competitive activity where participants attempt to break clay disks flung into the air at high speed from a variety of angles.

The cost will include 50 targets per shooter, gun rental and You will receive free ear plugs, and free use of rental glasses and guns.

If anyone would like to shoot extra targets they are more than welcome to pay for them the day of event.

  • Located on the Southwest side of Atlanta approximately 20 minutes from downtown.
  • From Interstate 285 take Exit 2.
  • Go west on Camp Creek Parkway (away from airport) for 3.6 miles.
  • Take a left on Merk Rd.
  • We are less than a mile down Merk Rd. on the left.

    • Notes:

    In the case of rain event will be rescheduled.

    Important information for paid events in which payment is managed through the AOC:

         - Payment must be received by the payment due date and prior to participation in the event.

         - Some paid events require a minimum number of registered participants. If that number is not met, the event will be canceled and refunds will be issued to those who have already paid.

         - Third-party vendors often require damage deposits. Each registrant agrees to be liable for and required to reimburse the Atlanta Outdoor Club for any withheld deposits due to the actions of or damages caused by that registrant.

         - No partial payments. All registrants must pay the posted Member Cost regardless of any agreement you may have with any party involved in the event.

         - Read the event description carefully for additional information, and contact the trip leader(s) with any questions.

    * We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines while participating in AOC events.

    Cancellation/Partial Attendance:   Please review the AOC cancellation policy.
    *Note:

    Full payment is due by Tuesday January 27th, 2009 to reserve you spot on this event otherwise you will be removed from the attendee list. Anyone signing up or moved from the wait list on or after Jan. 27th, full payment is due the same day.

    It is your responsibility to get the payment in on time.

    Please allow two days for processing a PayPal transaction and one week for a check.

  • If you cancel on or before January 27th, then you'll receive a refund of the event cost less $5.00.
  • If you cancel after January 27th, then NO refund will be given unless someone from the waitlist takes your spot and pays for the event. You will be refunded your paid money less a $5.00. No refunds after Jan. 27th, unless you are replaced from wait list.
