Itinerary:

NOTE: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN PUSHED BACK FROM BEGINNING AT 10am TO NOW BEGINNING AT 12 noon, DUE TO WEATHER CONDTIONS.

Come join us for a Memorial Day weekend paddle on the Chattahoochee.

We will meet at Coweta County Riverside Park off of US-27 ALT in Newnan.  After unloading our boats we will arrange a shuttle to our take-out at Chattahoochee Bend State Park.  The round-trip shuttle will take approx 45 minutes.  Please arrive in time to have your boat unloaded by 10:00 am so that we can get on the water by 11:00 am.  The paddle should take approximately 4 hours and we are allowing 30 minutes to stop for lunch/break approximately half way at the McIntosh Reserve Park boat ramp.

Notes:

There is no parking fee required for Coweta County Riverside Park, however, Chattahoochee Bend State Park requires a daily parking fee of $5 unless you have an annual pass, available for $50.  We will stop at the visitor's center to make sure everyone has their pass.
