Itinerary:
As an Adventure Coach who is training for upcoming adventures, I need to train locally on a weekly basis. This is one of my favorite hikes since it includes good elevation gain with decent mileage that I can do at a moderate pace. The trails are well marked and there's plenty to see, including the Hike Inn & Amicalola Falls. There are restrooms available at 3 points - Top of Falls, Visitor Center, and Hike Inn. Feel free to ask me questions along the way about anything outdoors and I'll try my best to answer them.
This is a moderate hike for intermediate to advanced hikers. The hike is approximately 10 miles round trip with an above average hiking speed (2.5mph) and only two rest breaks. We’re going to start from the Len Foote Hike Inn Trailhead past the Top of the Falls which we'll follow to the Inn for 4.9 miles, stop for lunch at the Inn, and return back to the falls for a total of close to 10 miles. I can arrange an optional lunch of soup & drinks at the Inn dining hall so bring money for a small donation. We should be back early afternoon around 2:30pm.

Please plan on bringing a small lunch and snack since we will be dropping by the Len Foote Inn for a quick 10-15 minute break.

Good hiking shoes
water and snacks
Clothing appropriate for weather conditions: gloves, hat, wind/rain shell jacket
