Itinerary:

Come celebrate the beginning of the weekend with a fast paced hike. Our intent is to finish 6.2 miles in 2 hours or less and the rating has been adjusted to reflect this.

This is a beautifully maintained park with several foot bridges and one suspension bridge (which may or may not be crossed depending on the route). We will meet in the parking lot near the trail head (stay straight on the gravel road; do not turn left towards the Visitor Center).  The trail is relatively flat but a few climbs in several locations (last GPS clocked the total ascent at 680 ft and descent at 519 ft).   The hike will start promptly at 6 p.m.

Please remember that our No Show Policy will be strictly enforced. If your plans have changed, please be mindful of your registration and update the event accordingly. This provides anyone on the waitlist an opportunity to join the hike.

Please feel free to bring hand weights if you wish to have a little extra workout.

Event Directions:

I-85 N to I-985 toward Gainesville. Take Exit 17. Turn left off the ramp onto GA 13/Atlanta Highway. Go 1.8 miles, until you pass the Golf Course on the right. Turn at the next right and a quick right onto Elachee Drive. Follow Elachee Drive for 1 mile through the golf course, across bridge over I-985. When the road curves, continue straight into the gravel parking lot. Address for GPS 2125 Elachee Drive
